SMS Terms & Consent

What messages we send

Viral (getviral.social) sends one-time verification codes (OTP) by SMS. These messages are transactional and are sent only to verify your identity and secure your account when you sign up, log in, or verify your phone number. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

How you opt in (consent)

You provide your consent inside the Viral mobile app and on getviral.social. On the phone-number entry screen, before any message is sent, you enter your own mobile number and see this disclosure directly above the Send code button:

“By tapping Send code, you agree to receive a one-time verification code via SMS from Viral. Msg & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.”

Tapping Send code triggers the SMS and constitutes your express opt-in. You are never enrolled without this action, and codes are sent only when you request one.

Message frequency

Only when you request a code — typically one message per sign-in or verification. There is no recurring or scheduled messaging.

Sample message

Your Viral verification code is 123456. It expires in 10 minutes. Do not share this code with anyone.

Rates, help & opt-out

Message and data rates may apply. For help, reply HELP or contact us at support@getviral.social. To stop receiving messages, reply STOP; you may no longer be able to verify your account by SMS after opting out.

Privacy

We do not sell or share your mobile number, and it is used only to deliver verification codes. See our Privacy Policy for details.
